One of my Bugeye turn indicator rubbers has started to fail... and, thankfully, the glass beehive safely landed on a soft-spot in the garage. In attempting to re-install, it became apparent that the outer part that captures the chrome ring was starting to seriously fail. I suppose it's just the sun and pollutants in air, and I'll have to acquire a new one.
Anyway, this got me to wondering if there is a recommended conditioner of some sort for variously exposed rubber bits like this (that won't harm the rubber)... something to keep it soft and supple. Thoughts?
