Every Saturday there is a Cars & Coffee at the base of the San Gabriel Mtns in La Canada which is up in the northeast corner of the greater Los Angeles area. It is a well established weekly event that attracts some great cars. There is a pretty good mix of people at this event; everything from mechanics, rocket scientist (JPL is near by), educators, just plain folks, with a good deal of representation from the entertainment industry.
I tell you this because it is background to the story I want to share with you.
A couple of Saturdays ago while hanging out at Cars and Coffee my buddy Steve Gerow introduced me to a woman who had stopped by to admire our Healeys which were proudly displayed in their usual spot. Apparently, the woman, who's name I learned was Angela Churchill, is a model and an actress and was hoping to find a vintage car that she could use for some promotional shots. I agreed and a couple of days later my wife and I drove our 62 BN7 over to the photo shoot. We were there for a couple of hours and we were really impressed with the photographer and the results he achieved.
