Re: Beautiful Fall day in NW took the dog for a ri
here we go:
Mom's present, Tobasco style peppers on top w/ cherry tomatos on the bottom. I'm not real crazy about the glaze. Looks beeter in good light, it was about to rain.
Cherry tomotos hanging it a tree, just trying them here for a while.
Full size Sunmaster plant in the size of a backet ball "honey pot". I did this as an experimant to see if I could get a big plant in a little pot and still get normal sized fruit. It was a sucess. They are just starting to turn now. Weird shape at bottom opening is a sponge in crooked.
Here's the whole gang so far. Some have been going a while and some were just planted the other day. I ran out of room to hang them so a threw a piece of old chain over some limbs and v'ola, instant hanging garden.
I've got some basil starting in the top of a few, but it's from cuttings and hasn't grown too well. You really can't see the color and textures in these pics (I'm a big texture guy).
The white w/ blue streaks are blue slip squirted over the white body and really looks and feels nice. Good summer color and style w/o too much heat retention. The dark green ones (look hard for them, one is in the tree) do great when it's cold but needs to stay out of direct light I think for summer months.
I like hanging them v.s in ground as soil is rock hard here and I can control the exact amount of water this way and it only takes a few minutes.
I've got some others I'm really like that are going to be bisque fired tonight. One new shape is really cool. I'll try and get a pic before I fire it.
