I don't know about your neck of the woods but around here today it was a beautiful 76 degrees. Took the 6 out for about 50 or so miles. Can tomorrow be Sunday again?

It will be like Sunday again here in New England tomorrow and will be again on Tuesday as well. Rain this afternoon, rain Monday and rain again on Tuesday.

Not exactly a bonus weekend........

Another Sunday! absolutely! Except my staff calls it a personal, vacation, sick day, or disappear day. 62 degrees. Rained all day today and yesterday here.

Rained most of the morning here....Cleared up later, but still cool(it is Canada)....My LBC driving days are numbered /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

My wife and I got a baby sitter for the two rug rats and went on a "date" tonight. We took the 6 out... it was in the 90's today and clear as a bell. After the sun went down it was perfect.

Very hot here both Sat and Sunday.
Both mornings spent doing clean up of exterior, interior and engine bay from all of this summers (completed) projects. Both afternoons spent ripping around the the city and out to the country. Me with a very wide grin at all times! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
The best compliment was from a tourist from Georgia:
"Now Sir, That is one fine Ride!"

Still raining here in New England, which is beginning to feel more like New Ireland. It's definitely not a "Nice day, for a white wedding" as the song goes.

Or, more rain in store for tomorrow. I just hope it's nice for the CCBCC wine country run in the "Valley of Sin" and Picnic in two weeks. Yes, we do have wine country here in MA, CT and RI. It's not the Napa Valley, but the views are great and the wine is good (from what they tell me, as I don't partake in the fruit of the vine)

It was sunny and warm all weekend here. The new wife and I took the TR6 from San Jose to South Lake Tahoe (via Hwy 50)for a wedding. Then up to Donner Lake, and finally back to San Jose via Hwy 80. About 550+ miles round trip and a climb from sea level to almost 7500 feet and the Triumph didn't miss a beat! Tahoe is much prettier as seen from a Triumph, I've discovered!

2 questions, John. What happened to the old one and why did you go and screw up everything. Now you have to justify every purchase you make for the TR6. Geez, ya should'a asked first.

Bill

Bill, you're right! I should've checked with the group first! Might have saved myself some trouble in the long run! One problem with asking this group, however, about whether one should get married or not is that everyone on here loves things that are high maintenance! I think I'll be okay. My wife (well she was my fiance at the time) asked "can we go to Buttonwillow again this year [for the Vintage Auto Racing Association's British Extravaganza]?" but I had to say no because it was too close to our wedding date. I knew then she was a keeper. Luckily this is my first go at it, so there is no "old" one. No "used", "previously owned", nor "factory reconditioned" one either. My wife also loves how much we get noticed in the TR6 so she's pretty lenient when it comes to my TR6 purchases. Plus, she's somehow been tricked to believe that I am mechanically inclined, so I can just say something like "honey, I noticed a big hole in my engine bay that's leaking bhp, but luckily I can easily plug it up with a 3rd carbuerator" and she'll say "okay, whatever it takes". ...Hopefully. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Just to keep all of you sun lovers in the loop, it's still raining here in New Ireland.
