Me too, I want to not only see the full front of the truck before moving back but some distance of road as well

Been there, done that. I was driving my 63 Plymouth Valiant to an appointment at the Naval Station on Treasure Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay. I was leaving Treasure Island to get on the westbound Bay Bridge. It's a short on-ramp. I looked back, saw all was clear and floored it. A few seconds later I hear a loud air horn and saw nothing but chrome in the rear view mirror. I promptly wen out and bought a 70 Duster 340.
