Hi all,
I'm hopefully getting down to finding the last of my parts for my BE build. I am now stuck on the windshield washer pump. It seems that they used two different mounting means using a manual pump from '58 to '66. I have a good pump with one inlet and two outlets and a good knob. I'm trying to find the hardware. this is my pump.

This is what I think is the early mounting hardware. the two "cups" are shown as item 40.

this is a picture of the later mounting hardware. the trim piece on the right is threaded and attached to the cup on the left. The hole in my dashboard is 7/8". Will the mounting hardware from the later car mount the washer from my BE? Does anyone know where I can find just the hardware? Does anyone have any extra stuff? Thanks in advance for your help.
cheers, Scott in CA

Is it the same as an MGA?

It seems I used an MGA pump on mine, but I do not remember if I had existing hardware or used hardware that cam with the pump.

One cup is chrome for the front of the dash it is really the only one you need. I'm sure Miss Agatha only has the chrome one.

Just an update on the never-ending search for the right part! I ended up ordering the Moss part # 565-055 which was listed for an MGA. The result, perfect! See attached. It fits the 7/8" dia. hole in my dash and it has all the right parts. Not sure the wording is quite right on the knob, but it is close. Thanks for your help!

Hey... my memory is not as bad as I thought.
Now, you concours fellows, what is incorrect about this pump? I'm sure there is a reason it is not listed as a Bugeye replacement unit.

Here's what MOSS Europe says about the pump assembly Newly re-introduced after a several year absence, this pump faithfully reproduces the original, so should be a very welcome item for those attempting to keep the vehicle original in both appearance and operation. They show it as P/N 27H9624. The price is considerable higher in Europe. Usually it's the opposite.

Excellent find. I'll have to add that to my list of needed parts now.
