So here we are, the Frog and me. This BE has not seen an engine for 13 years, mine for 7 months, and the PO for 12 1/2. Rebuilt 1275 and ribbed trans just installed. See the smile? It took me two transmission, one from ebay and one from a friend and a lot of parts to make one good one. The engine that came with the car,had great numbers, unfortunately, anyone can write numbers on a tag and attach it to the engine. That one was toasted, so I bought another donor. Now all I need to do is add brake fluid, a fuel system, a steering system, etc, etc, and maybe it will drive down the road! Thanks for all your help on this forum, it has been invaluable information!

Looking good! Keep posting your progress -- helps me get re-re-motivated to get mine done too.
