Horler's book "Original Sprite and Midget" lists the following:

AN5 47565 was produced 21 August 1960. They were producing about 75 cars per day then. My guess is that your car was produced 23-25 August 1960.

My title says 61 and I'm trying to get it changed to 60. Waiting on a call back from the DMV office now.

I guess it could have been one of those that were first registered in 61.. That could be a bummer.

I just ran across this. in the sprite club site.
It claims 46276 was built 24 Aug 60

AN5L44287 was built 22 July 1960, and is titled as a 1961.

Since I was just looking at that production link from spriteclub.com, and I have a bit of time in the wee hours, I decided to make this production graph. I expect it's not completely accurate, but with the given data it's the best I could do at this time.

I had to filter the values a bit.

I don't understand the vertical scale. Is this cars per day in the 20s, to 140s. If it is a running total at each date would be nice. Thanks!

I've added the list to my favorites, thanks for the info. I thought that there were only a few colors available, do you think that they just named the same colors differently?
