I'm not very good at IDing these. I like the rounded off, wrapping rear window look of this, is it for a BE? I've got a MK1 Midget, wonder if it would fit on it, and is glass impossible to get as it would seem?
I'd say no based on the claps for the windscreen. I have one of these tops, same shape and funky round inserts at the sides. Mine is for early cars with sidescreens. Love to know the name of the top. The window is plastic in mine.

I agree that the front clamp may need to be modified. The top in question clamps on the inside of the windshild frame, the window frame for the BE and early Sprites (MKIIs) allow for the clamping of soft and hard tops to be clamped on the outside. I am currently trying to track some of these outside clamps for a top that I have for my MKII Sprite. AH Spares have something that may work, however the Parrish top may need to have these fitted to the outside. Also, I just learned that Parish Plastics is now Smooth Line, located in Tarentum (Pittsburgh) PA. I have a Parrish top for a Big Healey and I'm trying to find info on it as well. One thing you may want to check regarding the top on Craigs List. The back lower section looks flattened. The style may be differant, but I would ask if the back end of that top was pushed in. Both top and bottom of the rear window area does not look right. Hope this helps.
Magyar
The pic from the Smooth Line web site does show that the back of the top is correct and I was wrong thinking it may have been damaged. They still may be worth checking for replacement parts.
I like the streamlined look a bit better then the squarish OEM ones. Probably not worth chasing this one as it is far away and needs redoing and parts, but I'll look into it a bit.
This pic shows lack of external front hardware.
Oh duh, I understand it's for an MKII or MKIII. Not my vintage anyway. BTW I emailed Smoothline, got an attachment back but doesn't say precisely what it fits. $1200 new. Seller said it's got a '70 manufacture date.
That's the car it come of is a 1970.
If it's notched, it's for a Sprite MkIII or Midget MkII; if it's smooth, it's for a Midget MkIII or 1500 Midget......though depending on the year of the Sprite, a smooth one could also be for a late Sprite MkIII, I think.
