BE floor pan welds aren't everywhere?

Most of the floor pan spot welds were easy to see and drill out. However I am not seeing any to the right side of the driver foot well or to the cross member (the box section under your knees when sitting). Just looks like flat metal, no spot weld dimples

Are these hidden somehow or just not there?

On my two Bugeyes the spotwelds are readily visible from under the car, but not in the footwell.

Yes many spot welds seem to be more visible from the bottom, at least on my '67.
