BCFers at Spridget 50

We had counted 22 if you remember....

And 36 Bugeyes and a total of 80 cars if you count the ones that came only for the autocross.

35 Bugeyes is an awsum sight.

I just looked at the picture of Sprite Jubilee and counted 52 BEs in the picture. There were more than that there. That was quite a sight also.
Charlie

If I said I counted 28 it was after the pint of bourbon.

Just got back home. It was awesome. Lots of cool folks and great original cars and Modified cars too. Last night leo gave me a ride in that blue bugeye, the one that was in the lobby right after Mrs agatha. car had very low miles and I believe he won the bugeye class with it,Not sure. Still, that was a perfect car and ran perfect. He really opened it up down hwy54 too.

I was there with my dad. He is ksbugeye1275 and its Dieckhoff not Bieckhoff. I don't expect to be on the list since I'm a Triumph guy. Also John Rayne was there but I'm not sure what his name is. It was a great show. I was the one there in the Miata. Eric
I wanted to go with your dad for a run in that Bugeye but never got up with me or him sober enough to try it  I know that one is quick, so is your miata.

What a grand weekend.Great organisation by Jim and his board.

We finally got back home last night. After hanging around Lebanon,MO waiting for a replacement alternator. The thing failed not long after we left Osage Beach. The guys at O'Reilly's in Camdenton were very helpful and organised delivery of the alternator to Lebanon. As we had to go through there, this was good.
We even ate at an old Route 66 restuarant, not too bad at all.

Changed the alternator, and got on the road.
On I55 people yelled that a tyre looked funny.Would you believe it!!! a rear tyre had developed an enormous bulge.
Fortunately,we only had fifteen miles to go,and negotiated them slowly, but safely. So new tyres are next on the list.

It was great to meet so many nice people, and see so many nice cars.

Stuart.

Maybe your new tires will help eliminate the rest of that "shake".

Glad to hear you made it home safely, Stu! Jerri & I enjoyed our time with you guys!

Sounds like you dodged a bullet there. yeah, that knot on the tire might fix a lot of other issues you thought you had. Wonderful finally meeting and talking to you.
