BCF webpage appearance?

If the path is very long, then it forces the width to be too long.

So, is that related to the issue of when the text area in a message extends beyond my screen size at times? When that happens, in order to read a message, if longer than ten or twelve words, I have to scroll back and forth.

Yes, that will often happen when someone posts a picture that is too large. I urge folks not to post pictures in a message that are more than 600 pixels wide.

Last night BCF was really messed up. Several hours of no connection, or more than 4 minutes to open a page, and then it was something I had never seen before. I did a screenshot (SnagIt), saved it, if you're interested, I can send it to you. Went on all evening.

Dave - I think several of us would be interested in seeing that screen shot.

Could you just post it here? Might help explain some connection problems some of us have been having.

Thanks.

I'd like to see it before you post it. You have a PM

I have been having all kinds of trouble logging on for a very days now

no troubles here - though it got a bit hung up loading pages on the ipad last night - course that could have been a problem at this end also

Depending on what time - around 11PM eastern the server begins doing nighly backups (of all web sites on the server) and that definitley takes a lot of resources, thus slows things down a bit.

It was just doing something newly weird. The coloured band at the top of the columns...mine is burl walnut.....had blue bars in it, all sections, looked like capital E's without the vertical bar.
Refreshed the page and it was gone.

8 PM western? Is that so you can keep an eye on it?
