Thumbs are fine, but my right arm is numb from swinging the mallet to strike the floor board nailer. 1000 nails x 2-3 blows per nail = very tired right arm.

This LBC person thinks a BCF Reunion would be great. However we might well have to designate zones. For our out-of-country members we would need to come up with a plan. Being selfish and using as a ploy, I think the southwest area should determine New Mexico as its reunion center and can use the excuse of the Emperor Living In The Land Of Enchantment!!!!

They do indeed, but when I went to the rental place the TWO air powerd models they had were both broken, so I optet for the manuel type. How bad could it be, right? Its only a 14 x 14 room /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Yes, definitly prefinished! It is 3/4" solid white oak and it's as hard as a rock! It took me an entire weekend to lay it and now I'm doing the base boards (also oak).

Actually this is something we tried a few years ago, but had a lot less members then so it wasn't much of an event. We had BCF "Global Cruse" day where members from various regions got together on a common day and went for a cruse. Now that we have many more members it might be fun to try again, however my schedule would make it difficult until Springtime.

What would you all think if I opened a special forum just for planning and discussing the BCF gathering?
