My wife Jo and I drove up to Washington Court House, OH to pick up a TR6 frame and drivetrain and drove over to Dayton to meet Jim Gruber. I must say that I've met a lot of good people from BCF and Jim is one of the best! Bugsy IV looks to be the most solid original BE I've seen and it sounds great as well and Jim has some great plans for it.
Since we're staying in Louisville I contacted Trevor for hotel locations and restaraunt recommendations and he came thru with some great suggestions. We enjoyed last night enough to cone back for another night and we look forward to enjoying downtown.
On another note, the guy I bought the TR6 frame from has both a TR6 and a 69 MGB so I told him about the forum...his name is Alan, so if you see a new guy from Washington court House give him a warm welcome!

Sorry, I couldn't meet up with you, but the holiday travel took longer than expected.

Rut, we also enjoyed our stay in Louisville for MG2016 and the British Bash and sampled many great local restaurants! We stayed downtown a couple of days and got to enjoy the wild Kentuckiana Pride festival parade as welll!

We've enjoyed it so much that we're staying a third night. Jo and I walked over to Indiana today and we're going to Corbetts tonight for dinner.

Rut,

Sorry that my schedule wouldn't allow me to buy and your lovely wife some lunch. Hope my recommendation turned out to be good. It's always good to put a face with a name. You've been a lot of help to me over the years. Good luck with the TR-6 Project and top getting the engine back into your BE. Now if I can get Bugsy II Sold, he may be on E-Bay by this weekend, if my Cleveland Buyer continues to waffle.

A rescuable BE to be sold Bill of Sale only as OH is giving me fits trying to register a CN Car. they want a copy of the Registration Paper from 31 years ago and paper copies of those documents no longer exist. #$%@@#$! Ohio BMV!!!

Jim,
City BBQ was some of the best we've had...I had the pork and Jo had the chicken, both of which were wonderful. We are heading south this morning and will do some distillery tours along with some sight seeing. This is a beautiful part of the world and I'm sure we'll be back.
The sale of Bugsy II shouldn't be too hard since a lot if states accept a bill of sale on cars that old. I've had several with titles and several without and Alabama doesn't want to see the title for registration, just the bill of sale.
