I just compiled the membership growth statistics from our opening date, 25 Dec 2000, to the end of 2007. As I look at the steady upward trend, I have to wonder if 2008 will be the year we finally break 10,000 registered members?
I've attached an Excel Graph that shows how the membership has steadily grown. A couple of key points:
1. It took better than 3 months to get our first 100 members.
2. It took a full year after that (March 02) to reach 500, but within 6 months (Sept 02) we doubled that and hit 1000 members.
3. We hit 5000 members in August 2005.
4. Our overall average members per month for all years combined is 99 new members average per month. For 2007 only, the average was 112 new members.
I have a few new things planned for 2008, bt I don't want to give too much away. 2008 will be a fun time to be an active member here, lets just say that much /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cowboy.gif
Happy New Year Everyone!
