I'm so excited.......
I rebuilt the clutch master and slave cylinders a couple months ago and I've found the gear shifting getting baulky recently plus having to floor the pedal to the firewall to release the clutch.
So after having bad dreams about pulling transmissions and replacing taper pins etc, I thought maybe I'll just try bleeding the line again.
Lo and behold, I've got a perfect clutch again that releases with the pedal halfway to the floor! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
The downshifts into second hold no fear for me anymore, I'm Superman!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
Just had to share my elation.

Happy motoring Guv'na

Good work. I'm still not a fan of the crappy TR6 shifter. At least the shifter will rip off before I can bend any linkage.
