Sorry to kick the tired mule again. But.

I have a '67B. I currently have a Walmart cheepie in the group 26R size.

Do you measure the base or the top of it?

I see some here say a 26f works. From the dimensions I see, a 26f is too long. (10+in)
How are you getting it in there? The bottom of the box is 71/2 in x 7 in so the 26r is a snug fit. How did you get a 26f in there?

All that aside. where did you get yours? The Walmart ones don't last.

The last couple of batteries have come from NAPA. I subscribe to Consumer Reports and was disappointed to see in their battery review that the recommend brand varied by battery group/size. Of course, they didn't rate group 26R/F size batteries.
 
I bought a Superstart from OReilly's but can't attest to the longevity at this point because it has only started the car about 6 times, but I did buy it about 2 years ago. I make sure to keep it charged (leaving them in a discharged state will kill any lead-acid battery) and its still working fine, but it has not be subjected to any movement.
 
No help on the size - but I run a costco battery - not too expensive and when it died prematurely I got more money back than I would have expected (like 60% after three years)
 
I've been running a Walmart 26R that fits in the plastic battery box you can buy. It's tight, but it does drop in.
