I'M getting a new battery for the bt7, and i was curious if there is a limit to how much cca the healeys system can hold?
the one im looking at is an autocraft silver size 27 with 750cca. is this too much? any suggestions would be apprreciated. i plan on buying saturday. and ive already ordered my battery tender.

No such thing as too much. Your system will only use as much as it requires. A large capacity battery will not burn up any of your electrical system.

Doug is correct, but extra CCA doesn't hurt if your car is hard to start in, say, cold weather (none of our Healeys have THAT problem, right?).

Usually, the cross-reference books recommend a Group 24 battery, but if another size fits it'll work too. Check the dimensions of the battery against the space in your boot; a Group 24 just fits in my BJ8.

Another advantage of a group 24 battery for owners that have converted to negative ground is the positive post is in the right position.
