Battery box install- advice needed!

Greetings All,

I received my plastic battery box from Pegasus today as well as the sundries needed to relocate the battery in my 79 Midget to the boot.

Was thinking the drivers side of the boot would be a good spot. Any ideas on how best to mount it to the vehicle? Pics would be great if available!

Best regards,

Brian

I would think about passenger side instead, to offset driver weighted side.

"ditto" It also puts weight on the drive wheel, which is usually the right side if not trac-loc or posi!

Don't know what your doing with the car but best possible location would be directly in front of the passenger side wheel in the passenger compartment. Gets the weight down low and close to where its needed for traction.

Kurt.

Thank you all for the input, I appreciate it! I will look at the driver's side again to see if I can fit it in there.

Ultimate plan for the car is a daily driver and occasional track day car. Therefore as I make modifications I want to do so with that in mind.
