For this time of year, here in NM, T-storms are not unusual at all. As we come into late spring, early summer we start to enter what is called "monsoon" season. Basically, instead of nice long rainy days with steady rains, we get afternoon T-storms that dump large quantities of water in very short time - which unfortunately causes lots of flash floods. From looking at my radar app, it seems a lot of nasty stuff going on right now to the east of me, but so far nothing but some cool wind here. Maybe about the time I start to fall asleep it will start!
Well, here it is the next morning and we had nada - not even a drop of rain. However, several miles east of us got hammered pretty good. We dodged it this time.
