Nor'eastah on the way, tonight, Tuesday, and into Wednesday. Heavy wet snow 8 to 18 inches, 50 mph winds, major drifting, power outages. Vermont coffee, French toast with maple syrup, and sausage for breakfast!

Not if you don't have power! Just kidding.... Stay safe and stay off the roads. Hopefully it won't last long.

I brought in firewood and I have half a bottle of scotch. Nothing like 30 years ago when we had the storm of the century. My friend and I were supposed to go to Mrytle beach for golf. Our flights were canceled so we rented a car in Providence and drove to Baltimore. Got a flight out the next day. Easy drive until I hit snow covered highway in NJ going 80 mph. Ah to be young again!

epicaricacy " Rejoicing at or deriving pleasure from the misfortunes of others." Aloha fellow New Englanders from our vacation spot on Oahu. I'll be watching the snow pile up back home from the Ring doorbell cam as I hoist another Mai Tai!

Tom does not need no stinkin’ electricity!! Being a resourceful New Englander, I’m sure his home has a nice wood burning appliance or two!

It sure is blowing this morning. We are below the snow line as of now, but supposed to get something like 8” before tomorrow morning.

To everyone in the tropics: please raise a toast for us and enjoy the sunshine!! Schafenfreude be da@@ed; I actually enjoy this weather - it makes you feel alive. (Weird, I know… then again I like tiny cars that break down all the time… maybe I should see a doctor??)
