Our Barbie Healey clock radio has started gaining about 4 minutes a day. To continue to be useful, I would have to reset it every day. Can these be fixed?
How many miles per hour is that?

Re: Barbie clock radio too fast

Maybe it's just trying to get this rotten year over with?

On the serious side, if it's an electronic clock--the one I had was--there isn't much you can do about it (that I know of, at least).

Re: Barbie clock radio too fast

Some physicists hold that time is compressible/expandable and if you can find one therein may lie your answer.
Me, I'd simply get another clock.

Re: Barbie clock radio too fast

Disconnect the power supply, then it will be correct twice a day.

Yes, GregW, twice a day and set it for, 12:34:56...enjoying the numerical flow to its max!

My Healey/Barbie clock was electric; no power, it displayed ... nothing (although when new it did have a small battery in it).

I have bought a parts car. Hopefully its clock keeps good time.
