Wife and I were in an antique/flea market place yesterday in Chatt. Tn. Spotted a Barbie Austin Healey there, Color was Salmon according to my wife, looked to be in good shape, I have heard of them but that was the first one ever that I have actually seen. Was pretty detailed, no doubt about it being a Healey. $200 for it.

th, the price depends on several things such as are all the bits there, had it been played with too often, does it have the original box, how faded are the colors, is "barbie" included, etc. i met a guy at a yard sale that had two for sale on a table infront of his garage, when i mentioned that they looked to be in very good condition he became very excited and began giving more information about them then i ever wanted to know, after the lecture he brought me into his basement that had shelves on an entire wall about 25 feet long 8 feet tall filled with nothing but barbie healeys, mind you hes not married, doesnt have any children, he doesnt own a healey never had a ride in one or know anything about them, very strange indeed. :eeek:

legalbill, theres been a gal around for several years that had many plastic surgerys to her face and other body parts to make here look like "barbie", it might be intersting to invite her to a healey gathering, say for $5.00 one could have a picture taken with her in thier car. wow thats spooky! ah "just remembered her name "cindy jackson", doesnt look like barbie to me though.

I love Rick's comment about someday they'll be digging up that guy's backyard !
Regards,
Mike
