Barbie’s Ride

I’m upset but don’t know who to complain to. The new Barbie movie features a 1957 Corvette and not her original 1962 Austin Healey 3000. Who’s with me in being outraged? What’s our best approach to get justice?

It is a portable carrying case for a Barbie and or Ken and storage for clothing. My brother picked it up at a sale for me because of the Healey

Where did they get the upside down Sprite grille? I'm throwing out my Gearhead Ken doll as soon as I can find his flat driving cap and greasy designer oil rag.

My sister had Barbies and got the Barbie Healey for xmas when we were kids. Of course she did, my dad had a Healey at the time
Isn't there a Healey car clock radio too? I think they both cars were plastic orange.

There is at least one other version of Barbie's Healey. The second was sold by Montgomery Ward and was red with white interior.

There are two versions of the clock radio. The first has upside down overriders on the rear bumper.

There was also a ceramic music box that plays the Notre Dame fight song.

And there was a Whitman puzzle with Barbie sitting on the bonnet, adjusting her hair.

My wife still has her original 1962 Barbie Healey__and in really remarkable condition too__though I have been through at least 3 or 4 of the Barbie Healey clock radios since the mid 1990s. The radios, while cosmetically pleasing, are really crap; you're lucky if the radio portion lasts a month (and reception was terrible out of the box).

Since I haven't set an alarm (for work) in close to 20 years, I'm content that each morning I can just see what time it is that I confirm I exist for another day! Alarm or not, I'm usually up before 8 AM, as 4-1/2-5 hrs sleep has been routine my whole life (check this post's time stamp, or I'd go snap a coupe of pictures of Sue's Barbie Healey right now__we don't risk waking The Redhead...).

Wow, I sure hope my current Healey/Barbie clock keeps working for a long time; prices have more than doubled since I last purchased one on ebay (no doubt fueled by the new Barbie craze)! > Barbie Healey clock radios - Google Search <
