A few nice photos of banjo in San Juan. I hope Basil does
not give me dutch for the election campaign poster. These
two guys have their faces plastered all over their county.
Thank goodness it's NOT Bayamon where we live.

Enjoy: Dave and womenfolk arrive next weekend.

Dale, have you ever worked on the mechanicals of your boat? Just wondering.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Nice pictures...

Hey! that's my wife and me!!! hehehehehe. Those are some good shots. I got some good ones of Dale and Wendy too. My wife has them loaded on her laptop, but not on this computer yet, so I haven't gotten them up on Flickr.
What a fun week.
Im really missing the weather now, as it's in the upper 40s and raining here. it topped out around 55 or so today, and has been raining steadily since about 8:30 a.m. BLAH!!!!

Those guys in the poster remind me of a Puerto Rican Click and Clack. hehehehe

P.S. saying Jan's house is intresting is like saying that the Grand Canyon is a pretty big ditch.
Read Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass" and you get an idea of what that place is like. It's really, really cool.
I kept looking for the Cheshire cat.

Hey Ray- Leaving for some tarpon fishing in abou
ten minutes!

Yes, I constantly work at keeping my boat and engine
as close to factory new specs as possible. I carry some
tools, spare propeller, spare plugs ,grease gun and spare
elec. fuses.

I do preventive maintenance, purchase top quality parts
and materials, faithfully take the boat to the best marine
engine shop in town every 50 hours of use. I spend time with
the mechanic who works on my engine and we discuss the
computer printout. My boat and engine are reliable.

I cut no corners and purchase nothing from K-mart or Home
Despot for my boat to save money.

My TR6 breaking down and coasting to the side of the road
is far less serious than losing my boat engine 5 to 10 miles
offshore in six foot seas.

I know for a fact, a boat I had built in 1986 is alive and
well- fishing the Chesapeake bay near Annapolis.

Have a good one!!

Just having a little fun with you. In another life, I had a 35' mahogany planked sports fisher with twin hemi's. Once after fueling, I left and the fuel pump clogged. There I was in San Pedro Channel adrift with a dead in the water 10 ton boat heading slowly toward the rocks.

A guy in an 8' dingy towed us back to my berth. The next day, I tossed the single pump and installed two new pumps and two new filters. I also went through the electrical and insured each engine had it's battery and circuitry with the ability to crossover if necessary.

Never had a problem with fuel or electrical after that.

When I blew one of the engines, I sold it for electronics. The saddest and best day of my life.

Good fishing to yah.
