News is it touched down near Dothan, took out a school building. Sketchy detials so-far. One fatality reported.
 
We'll get the tail-end of the front, storms and wind. A "watch" is in effect but doubtful there'll be that kind of activity. What a hateful thing to have happen. *bleep!*

Now it's up to 13 fatalities, students and teachers... hateful. And the front extends as far north as into southern Michigan!!

Hunker DOWN up there too!!

You said it, Doug, very sobering. I work for a school district, and can only imagine the impact that will have. Wow.
 
That's horrible.
 
Weather Channel just reported 15 dead at the school now. Prayers for the victim and their families and friends, please.
 
News just reported on Fox that the number has been downgraded to 7. Still too many, but a small mercy.
 
We holding tight down here in Niceville, about 60 miles south of Dothan. Think the worst going north of us.
 
MAN!! I was locked in a classified exercise until about 8pm last night & didn't know anything about it until Jerri told me on the phone...we've got friends down there...we can only pray until we hear something definite......we were planning on going through there next week to visit on our way to Jack Laird's (he's much closer to it than we are up in north Alabama).

I know that community - they'll pull together to help one another out....but this one could have ramifications across the country because Enterprise is home to Fort Rucker....man!!
 
Kinda concerned for Jack. He must have been up late last eve. Haven't "seen" 'im this AM.
