Balloon in Tree

I have an expandable ball retriever and an 8 ft stepladder - a good combination to get myself killed in a bad fall on uneven ground. The ladder is lightweight aluminum and not very steady.

Be careful climbing a step ladder while looking up and nothing for reference. I find that a very unsettling combination.

Renting a lift from HD may be less expensive than a Dr. bill.

Pay some kid to break his neck.

Balloon is down. My tree guy, Ward Garrity, stopped by to pick up a check and saw the balloon(s) hanging there. He returned 10 minutes later with a long pole and the crumpled balloons are now residing in their new home - my garbage can. Good riddance. Ward is quite a character. Never without a toothpick.
