Bagpipes... you either love them or hate them

I'm pretty gullible, but I don't think I buy that story about how the bagpipes came to be. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

thats pretty good James. I especially liked the last one.

I noticed a few of them where just regurgitated Lawyer jokes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

But not everybody dislikes the pipes. Bagpipes transition all age groups and gender lines. Case in point my daughter Julia really loves her new friends she met at British Car Day in 2003. Not sure where she got this but she still call’s them “Wind-pipers”.

She loved the music so much she followed these guys all over the place while they played and marching up & down the rows of British cars.

Of course I’m not sure that’s a good or a bad thing from her perspective, as like most 4 year olds she still giggles at the (ahm!) body noises and loves making bubbles in the bathtub too.
