Hey TRBill, you remember all those miserable sticky
disks with electrodes that they always place on the
hairiest parts of your chest etc?

I'm now a member. I had my heart attacked and portions of
motor skill attacked as well by a rogue virus.

No heart muscle permanant damage, I was able to walk today
and the Doc's think 2 to 3 weeks I'll back to normal but
will need the tests run again to be sure.

A mini-hopspital aboard- quite impressive.
I've no enegy at all.

Estimado Senor Dale! Salud - buena salud! Que mala suerte!

Take care of yourself young fella. Glad you're back with us. When you're feeling more up to snuff, tell us about that cruise.

Tom

Dale-Relax, enjoy and have that wife of yours take care of you.. Was wondering where ya been

Okay Cuz,

Glad to hear you're a survivor. Now I'm going to offer a suggestion, up your Vitamin C and D intake and see if you've got a local health food store that you can obtain selenium from.

I would like to see you increasing your vitamin C intake to around 9000 units a day. Start 1000 three times a day for about a week until your system stabilizes. Vitamin C is water soluble and if too much is taken at one time, until your system is able to absorb it, it will just go out your lower end. Vitamin D At least 1000 mg a day with meals. Dinner time is agood one for Vitamin D. One capsule of selenium daily(at least 500 mg).

Some doctors may shy away from my suggestions about the Vitamin C, but I base my suggestion on that of Dr. Linus Pauling. That man did more research on Vitamin C than anyone else I know of..

holy moley Dale! Glad you're ok! that's scary. Was it something you picked up on the ship?

Cheeeze Dale! Sorry to hear about that. Been there, done that, etc.. In fact, I am due for a follow up ultrasound test soon.

Slow down for a while and don't push yourself for a while.

I agree with Ron about the vitamins.

I wish you the best!

Ditto.

Glad to hear all is well.

Hey there buddy, stop scaring us with these little episodes. Can we assume that it was some strange shipboard virus and not something Wendy brought along for company??
You are going to need you strength to horse Amos around on the enduro.

Dale, old boy!!! Take care! A breakdown like that and I'll bet you didn't even have any spares in the"boot" didja?? !!!

Take care of yourself Dale. Amos needs you to be as healthy as you have made him. Relax, rest up, and enjoy the cruise from here on.

Dale;
Now you're scarin' me!
You get better, 'cause these girls are gettin' worried about their friend!
Thinking of you!

Dave :savewave:

Tinster, so glad to hear you are on the mend. You are in my thoughts!

tinster, rouge virus?, ya right!, sounds more like the result of the onboard all night disko, get well amigo, anthony7777

My concern is that he posted this thread, but hasen't posted since... I'm hoping he's just takin it easy while he recovers!!!
Be better Amigo!

I'm hoping he's had too good a time to even THINK about the computer

Banjo;
I'm with you on this one.
I'm concerned for his health.
If no response by tomorrow, I'll call the island, and let you know.

This is not an isolated experience. A friend of ours went on a cruise and was so ill the cruise line placed her in quarantine. She was not the only ill one on that cruise either. And this is not the first time I have heard of this happening. I do so hope Dale is on the mend......
