I'm steel, 1" wide, 3 1/4" long, 3/16" thick. I'm drilled and tapped in the middle for threads, and I'm quite rusty. Where do I normally live in a 100-4? My flaky owner DIDN'T WRITE IT DOWN! :rolleye:

Bob. You're right on. I have one. And the fenders are both back on the car. Hmmmmmm. Do I lose sleep over where the other on is? Hmmmmmm. Do I open that can of worms on which side I left out? Hmmmmmm. Do I pretend I never found this one? Hmmmmm. Anyway, thanks for being the good sleuth that you are. Now, all I have to do is choose what to do.

Bob, that's the 100-6/3000 page. In the current print catalog, the page for the 100-4 (109) shows the "tapped plate" having evidently been replaced by item 321-818 "Fitting Kit", 2 req. No picture of same in the catalog or in Moss' online gallery. Maybe these kits have been installed instead of the tapped plate.

Oops ... right you are (but they look the same as for a 100). We installed these on our BN2 almost as an afterthought--they really helped fit up the wings properly.

I'm petty sure my '54 does not have these plates. I've never seen them. Are we sure they belong on a 100? Or are they used on sixes only?
Cheers,
Alwyn

Our BN2/100M had them for sure. They cinch up the front top of the rear wings--on our car they made a big difference in aligning the wings. There should be about a 1/4" hole where the flat head screw goes through.

If you have the plates, you should be able to see them inside the rear wheel wells.
