Back to the EType finally

Basil,
I thought you had finished the Jag a while back. You are missing some driving time on it. I can't say much, if I don't drive mine some, I will be redoing it again from none use.

The good news is, a lot of the hard stuff is done: Engine rebuilt (several years ago with hardly any miles on it since, but need to "go through" just to double check things and replace any soft bits (gaskets, etc)). The IRS is completely rebuilt and detailed and installed. New aluminum billet shocks all around. New Dayton Wires with new Vredestein tires. The electrical wiring has all been replaced. The brake lines are all replaced with stainless. Fuel tank refurbished (cleaned out and coated. Painted the outer tank with POR 15. So, in reality, I'm about 70% done. If I can just do a little bit each day I might actually have it back on the road by this time next year (sounds like a goal to me :cool-new: )

You have to make the time, we are not getting any younger, and time isn't as plentiful to get things done. Always heard retirees say they never have figured out how they got anything done while working, seems there is less free time when retired.

I'm trying to make a point of doing something - even if it's a small thing - each day.
