We all have favorite dishes that mom used to make growing up. Today we were shopping in the Commissary on base and for some reason a can of kale caught my eye. My mom used to make kale and potatoes so I decided to grab a can of kale and a can go whole small potatoes, and YUM! It's been years since I had kale and potatoes - A little bit of sea salt, some black pepper and a couple teaspoons of Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime! Mmmm mmmm gooooood!

Interesting - these is a Dutch dish - Potato with Kale - called Borecole - I have no good memories of it! (though that may have been my mother's cooking - shh don't tell her)
