I,m Putting the interior in after paint, upolstery, etc, ect, OK how is the back fold down shelf mounted back into the car? Painter stripped interior and upolstery was done by another shop at the same time. Guess I should have taken better before pics.
PS: Only way my wife would let me get another LBC was to agree to license plates "HerHly"
Thanks for any input.

The hinges are screwed down to runner. Center the inner edge of the hinge sides to half-way point of opening (for slide bolts on seat panel) Question: did the shop cover up your holes? do you still have metal hole trim pieces? If not, you'll need some more info like "...go 2 3/8 inches from the outer edge of...etc...etc" Good luck on the refit

Be careful with that license plate. I saw a blonde driving an E Type roadster a while back, with a plate that said "WAS HIS".

To Rvman & Bugeye58,
Thanks for the input. I'm looking forward to driving my OOPS! Her Healey this spring as soon as the snow melts in Western NY AKA Buffalo. Speaking of license plates, We were at Watkins Glen for the 11th year in a row for the Vintage Ralley & Zippo Races. I guess to many beers with the party on Main Street and ordered new plates for our 79 Spitfire "SPIT UP". It gets lots of laughs.
Thanks again. Love this forum! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Hey R&M-
I’m a Watkins Glen regular too. This last September was the first SVRA weekend that I’ve missed in about fifteen or sixteen years. There’s really nothing like it- the races…the party in town…the gorge…the beer…and so many great cars. Always worth the six hour drive from here on Long Island.

Will look for you next year. We are always in the Glenora Rally on Friday & parked on Main Street, then in the vintage corral at the track on Saturdays. 67 Healey Red/Black "Her Hely" & 79 Spitfire "Spit Up"
Too bad it is almost time to store the LBC toys away. But can't do much else here as when it snows I'm lucky to find my Jeep let alone a LBC.

Enjoy the winter & look forward to spring!

R&M-
Funny, I've probably walked cicles around your car while it was parked on Main St. saying to myself 'someday...'
Well, someday finally came last summer. Spent this summer sidelined waiting on the rebuilt engine. Should be back in in a couple of weeks.

See you up there next year!
