We've made the final move to the farm in Oklahoma, 18 miles from Tahlequah, end of the trail of tears. Just got back on line yesterday. Tons of work to do, including the building of a new house. The wife is from this part of the country. We were married many years ago in Miami, (pronounced, Miam'a!), Oklahoma. Love it here! PJ

Glad you're there safe and sound.

Now the fun begins!

We're looking forward to a move in a few years, when we hang up our spurs.

Mickey

Everytime I hear "Oklahoma", I think of this ... i can't help myself:

I got a visual of you sitting in the middle of a field at a desk with a computer on it.

that would be awesome!

the only thing better would be if that field were in the middle of a race track ...

We don't intend to farm the place any more, just hay for the horses when we put them back on the farm. Been thinking about applying for some Oklahoma Mustangs. I believe we can get 3 a year if we qualify. Man I love it here! PJ

Hi Basil, Looks like Edgewood is on I-40. Not that far away. Were 60 miles straight East of Tulsa in the "Green Country". Been in a drought for a few weeks. Our spring fed pond is 2 foot lower than it has been in a few years. We need rain and a lot of it. Most farmers and ranchers around here have ponds for their live stock, but some run off ponds are drying up, some already have. PJ

IT'S RAINING!!! IT'S RAINING!!! Been a very long time. I hope it lasts all day!

Happens here every time I take the hard top off the MGB.

Well, you need to come up here and take it off.

~~Wait - that didn't come out right, did it?~~

eeewww.

*splurt*

I did not need that image in my head.
