A while back I decided that I'd probaly sell off all my Mgs and my Jag...went to New York on vacation...vegged out and watched the rusty cars parade by. Came back to New Mexico and mostly drove around in my truck and the wife's bug vert. We're just finishing the remodel on our new kitchen(wife and I have done it ALL with no help whatsoever..anyhow, the other day I pulled my Bout from the back of the shop and fored it up. Should have let it sit. Then I made the mistake of pulling the CGT out. Fired off on the first try. Then I drove it. Crap. Yesterday I painted the front valance and cleared it and today I'll install it. Going to take it on a short hop over to Teaxas and buy a Lotto ticket....its seven miles from the shop and I feel lucky!!!My plans to sell everything are up in the air...but I have closed my shop to customer service, am going to finish my S model 911 and then decide what to do with all my crap. We did get fortunate and sell our home in Cooperstown NY(on our last day of vacation) so I told my wife she should buy a new Mini...she laughed and said she wants her 65 Mustang finished...mot a new car.

Welcome back to the fold.

The MGC has always had under estimated powers.

Jack, you're a lucky man! Sell off th' 911 Porkchop, drive the MG and give your wife a nice gift: fix her Mustang. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

I'm thinking along Doc's line as well. Being able to choose between a classic Mustang and a CGT for a drive would be a wonderful position to be in! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'd sell the 911 but I had two and parted with one about three months ago....I don't sell many cars and that one was hard to let go of. I recently bought a new fuel inj. set up for my 75S model and have yet to install it. Once I get it on and tweaked...I'll drive it a while and then maybe offer it up in the spring. I plan on driving it to Az. in Oct. to an Air Force reunion of one of my old squadrons...if its not ready I'll take the CGT. Yesterday after driving it home...I remembered how much fun the car is and how many people wave when they see it.
