I hear that with Buckhorn Beer you have to drink
it quickly, before it eats the can away!
I remember when it was 69cents for a six pack.

...tho when I offer the swill I keep here it usually gets a polite: "Ahh, I think I'll have something else, thanks. Got any water?..." /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Remind me to bring my own, Doc.

We're not THAT uncivilised down here. You need not carry it all the way from Michigan... unless you're talkin' Stroh's. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Doc, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, drinks Strohs anymore. Maybe tourists, and that's probably a stretch. If I were to bring anything with me it would be Canadian.

Buckhorn?! Wow, that brings back memories. Do they still make the stuff? From Stillwater, MN looking across the St. Croix River at the top of the bluff just south of Holton, WI there was a HUGE Buckhorn sign. It was like the big Hollywood sign. Over the years, it slowly deteriorated. I wonder if it is still there.

Have a nice day

A friend & I took atour of The Olmpia brewery
back about 1980.The tour guide said..."& we also-
- make Buckhorn Beer.Any Buckhorn drinkers out there?"
To which my friend said "You think that anyone would
admit to that?" He was right- no one did.

Great to see another Elan up and running.. It's lonely out here all by myself..

Have just heard from a life-long friend in Denver, he's got an Elan S-3 S/E coupe and a Europa S-2 there. Both are up-and-running.
