Had a great time at the show, although we had to be towed the last 2 miles home when the car quit. Before I get into looking for the problem, thought I would post some pics here .

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

And we thank you. Lots of nice looking cars.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

thanks for the pics (and the inspiration)

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

I assume that midget in the 1st couple of pics is yours? Very nice indeed.
Good luck with the diagnosis, and sorry your car quit.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

Sorry I missed you at the show today Simon - my wife wasn't feeling well at at 9 month pregnant it was hard to argue with her...

Hope you get the car sorted ASAP.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

Yes - the red Midget is mine. I am sure the problem is nothing serious but it was a shame to end such a great day on the hook.

Hope your wife is feeling ok tdskip and sorry you missed the show.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

Hey Marco - glad you remembered this site. I think the problem with my car is fuel pump related. I have not had any time to lok at it yet, but a brief test in the garage shows that the pump is not producing the clicking sounds it once did. I will try and get under the car either tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

Hmmmm, first step, wack it with a wrench.

Re: Back From San Diego British Car Day

Jack, I have heard that before - first step will be to check the connections as the DPO was not a wiring whiz. Then, time for the hammer.
