Well it is the beginning of week 2 and 12 years of garage clutter is now gone. We look like squatters what with storage pantry closets now in front of the garage, along with grill, firewood, etc. all covered with pretty blue tarps. Only thing left in garage is a very heavy safe which is sitting on a furniture dolly (easier for the thief)ready to go outside. Just don't know where outside yet. Cars to stay in driveway except for Agatha who is parked in neighbors travel trailer as her trailer is now housing the lawnmower/wagon. The hallway barely has a pathway to get into the house as it's filled with all the 'perishables' and the stand-up freezer. Tomorrow is day 1 for the epoxy floor which will be followed in week 2 with the delivery of the cabinets to be installed... I think you get the picture. When will this end? It's anybody's guess. Oh yes, husband's mom is not happy with the upset. Gees I didn't say that, did I? :winner1: ?
 
I'm on week nine of a whole house renovation. Luckily, I'm not living in it and will not move in until every little thing is done, including the garage. Of course it will be last and by then I won't have any money left, so it may not get much but paint and good floor cleaning.

This year............
 
I feel your pain! We used to like to do home remodel projects, but after last summer's remodel from the tornado, I can barely bring myself to move furniture anymore. Maybe in a couple of years we will be able to consider some of the projects on our list...but not now.
 
I've been working on the upstairs apartment/gameroom oveer my garage since Thanksgiving....next week we finally order the carpet.
