Hello, I haven't posted for ages.
Have recently had the body and paintwork restored. It started with a small job and we found there was a ton of filler all over the front of the car, albeit very nicely shaped !! Once that was discovered there was not much choice but to check everything.
Here she is afterwards.

OH man, that sign says it all.-Keoke-

Reminds me of my old car,

Healeyatpp.jpg

but yours looks to be finished to a higher standard than mine, I should have left the bumpers off, love the look, great pictures, thanks for sharing them.

Beautiful car! And it's so nice to see your using it as it was intended to be used and not locked up in a museum somewhere. Great photos! PJ

Question, What is the final drive ratio your using for hill climbing?

The final drive is standard. In fact the car is standard all over.
To be fair the hillclimbs I do now are demonstrations. This gets over the business of fireproof overalls , helmets etc. You don't get timed, "officially' but can still give it some stick.
The give away is the old "Stirling Moss" type helmet which is decades old !!

Yes Curtis, i just buy an BJ8 phase 2 in blue healey/white few weeks ago but i have no pictures !
At the beginning, i wanted an 100/4 but i have two small childrens that i want to initiate to old cars, so i searched an 4 seaters who is more usefull for me and my familly.

I am here to learn more about healey and i must admit, that this forum is incredible, so much knowledge on cars. Every day, i discover something new.
I want to thanks a lot all contributors who give so much explanations.

I have to take some nice pictures of my car for the forum.

Curtis, do you participate on an healey forum in frenc ? (i don't find one with activity)

Me too, forum of the french healey club is inactive and not user friendly !

Just a little "mains dans le cambouis", the car is in good condition and i want to do some small works on it (change the headlights for cibie in H4 because i see anything in the night, insulation of the interior, more finish work than big work)

I hope to see you one day, i am living in paris and my car is between paris and the 18 (near bourges)...

Very nice. Enjoy. Especially nice because it is a driver!!!

Beautiful car Curtis, c'est manufique !!! ( that's 4 years of high school French ?)
Bon soir,
Mike
