"Baby you can drive my car...."

OK, what did ya do to get the carb problem straightened out??

Oh, BTW, you shift too soon, and what's with all the speed bumps you keep going over?? It sounds like the front suspension is ready to fall out! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif (just kidding).

Let's see....
One hand to hold the wheel
One hand to hold the cam
One hand to shift with

I give up (or do you have an automatic in the Crypt Car?)

Nice video though - keep her runnin'

Some days Dale wins a round or two:

1/3 mile but HEY!!! It ain't on jack stands!!

Is that how far it rolled when it fell OFF the jackstands? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

Fantastic. Well done Dale. Tell me, what side of the road do they drive on in Puerto Rico?!!!

Way to go Dale!!! I knew you could do it. Everytime I think I should give up and take my car to a shop to try and sort out my problems, I look at what you have accomplished on an island mostly by your self and tell myself to be patient and give it another try. Great job!!!

So what was it? Sounds like it corrected quickly...re-aligning the float valves? Installation new gas lines??
Glad to hear your on the road...again.

So Art,

It IS kinda obvious the front suspension is an area I have
not yet visited, isn't it? Still riding DPO Pedro original
equipment up front! (Pedro says 100% restored they are)

I know I need to attend to this problem but on the other
hand I'd like to drive this car for a 200 mile total with
a breakdown. I am slowly gather parts to replace the entire
front suspension.

200 miles without a breakdown is a heady goal, I know.

Do us all a favor and forget the front suspension and install a roll bar so you can mount the video camera properly and not have duct tape on your hair from holding it in place like you do now.

Dale,

Good to see you got at the problem. My car would probably break every week too if I had to go over that many speed humps in a single run around the block.

Yes, we have speed bumps in our neighborhood.
Here is the back street where I make trial
drives in the Crypt Car.

1.4 miles accomplished today in the Crypt Car
with no breakdowns. Started easily, shut down tightly.
Top speed 25 mph. Front suspension feels loose. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nonono.gif

At least I ain't on jacks today /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Dale you have a great talent for driving with yer knees.....lol

Great Vid, Aint it nice when they end up in the garage under their own power!

Keep up the good work!

The front feels lose only because you think it must be!

Cool video. So there is really a Dale, and he came alive on my computer - but I too wondered about how the damm thing was filmed...safely that is.

Congrats. By the way, the engine sounded pretty sweeet!
