Okay guys and girls,

Here's the poop. Valentines are stranded outside of
Knoxville with a BAD tranny. Only have 1st and fourth
gears. The others have teeth missing. Can anyone
from that area help them. Cell ph is 570-778-1749.
Need HELP now.................

Will Perry is installing a Datsun 4 speed in the car as I type.
2nd & 3rd gears are still in the Ribcase but there are no more needle bearings in those 2 gears. They pulled the plug and got as many bearings and metal out of the tranny as possible, put in some oil and made it to Rivergate.
They are about 200 miles from where they should be but they say as soon as the tranny and engine are back in, they are "out of there" and headed to the check point.
They will continue on the rally. You can't keep a good team down.

Sunday 1:30 am and the guys were back on the road.
Today everything is good but they say it's HOT, not the car, the weather.
ETA N'orleans around 7pm tonight give or take an hour for a time change and who's clock they were talking about.
 
Better the weather gets hot and not the car.They might run into some rain and thuderstorms.Do they have an umbrella??
