B-post gusset

has anyone replaced the gusset from the b-post to the rocker panel? i've found them on various online catalogs (moss, victoria british) but the pics aren't very detailed. also there are two pieces shown one is described as a gusset the other as the flat piece. i don't see a flat piece on my car, just the stamped steel gusset. also are these interchangeable left to right?
