B engine swap

A freind has a 77 B roadster and the engine has been going south for a long time. Last year he went to a show in Las Cruces NM and could really scream, as long as he was going downhill that is. Low power, low oil pressure etc. Then he actually drove the thing to Mass. as his sister was dying. He made it but barely. Now the car sits and Las Cruces is coming up Apr. 27-29th. We planned on a total rebuild, actually have one torn down but yesterday offered him the engine from my 77 that is stored in the shop waiting on a total resto. He had the afternoon off..so we popped the hood and an hour later it was on the engine roller getting cleaned off. It was so clean it took maybe 30 minutes. Brand new clutch set(going into my 76) and the o/d out of the donor is also heading into mine this week-end as well as a new custom exhaust. I'll rebuild either the engine already torn down...or one of three others I have or the one I'll get from his B. So now he'll be able to drive his B...I'll take my CGT and hopefully be able to draft someone into driving my B there. Alot of work to go to a car get-together.
