I just got settled in from a weekend in Ft. Worth. My wife took me down to see B.B. King play at Billy Bobs. It was a fantastic show. Even at 87 B.B. still is at the top of his profession, and anyone who likes the blues and gets a chance to see him certainly should.

Wow! - I was afraid of another RIP posting.
You are a fortunate man!

Excellent! I saw "big" Albert King in the 80s, locally.
I've never seen BB live, but love his stuff.

He plays in his club off Beale St. in Memphis all the time. Check it out when y'all come down.

The only claim to fame I have here:

My cousin, Jimmy, drives his tour bus!

When Dad died, Jimmy drove his mom (Dad's sister) up to Shreveport from New Orleans for the funeral in the bus. Quite a ride!

Stood outside of his club on Beale St. in 1991 for a couple of hours listening to him play. I was too new to my sobriety at the time to feel comfortable going in, but I sure wasn't going to miss listening to that man play. And I didn't even like the blues back then.
