P.S. I have no one favorite. It's like cars... sometimes a T6, other days an SR-71. And other days a DC-3. And then I defer to a Ryan ST-A... https://sss.airliners.net/photo/Ryan-STA/1991929/L/. Or a Piper Cub. (TR, Alfa GTV, step-down Hudson, W108 Mercedes, 911, ...)

I got the biggest kick out of flying a B-25 a few times, which belonged to Philco Radio Corp. Used as a flying test bed for classified experimental radio equipment. While setting in the seat, the thought can't stop entering your mind of the men who flew them in combat situations. Believe it or not, I was honored to be able to set in the same seat, let alone fly it, something I'll never forget. PJ

Not wanting to hijack this thread, but man do I ever wish we all lived closer, I dearly wish I could open a CAB and hear "the rest of the story" on about 3/4 of what gets alluded to on this board! :cheers:
 
This is the 25 I'm speaking of. Just happen to show up in an old photo of me in my Stearman. Clear nose cover was for a type of radar tracking gear. PJ
