Here's me, Peter Brock and his wife Gayle at last weeks Jefferson 500 at Summit Point.
Very, very nice guy (and gal).
We had a great chat about amateur club racing my Sprite (he said he misses going to amateur events these days.....I know he really enjoyed the Jeff 500)). Also talked about the other Peter Brock: the late Australian racer who actually owned a Cobra Daytona Coupe. They met at Goodwood.
During dinner Peter told us all about the Shelby driving school and how it went on to become the Bondurant school. Also about working with Harley Earl, Larry Shinoda, Bill Mitchell, Ken Miles, Phil Hill, Phil Remington and lots of other memorable names.
