Mine is pretty sedate. Would like a Caterham as a street-toy. Currently saving for one.

We'll see if I get distracted onto something else before this really happens.

According to the link I got that photo from, the car is a 1962 Lotus Super 7 (and it's in Australia).

Not sure about the wheels, but a car that old probably wouldn't have 4 X 100mm pattern so likely not Miata.

If it's a <span style="text-decoration: underline">real</span> '62, I probably couldn't afford it.
As you probably know, this is like when you see a "1966 Cobra" at your local McDonalds (there's more fakes than real ones).

Some of the Locost creations seem nice, but I would imagine quality is variable so I am less enthused by them.
To me, an early '80s Caterham with clamshell front wings would seem to be the best choice.

My son has a 1977 Caterham with 1700cc crossflow. He lives in France, near Antibes. The car was rebuilt in England by a specialist before being exported.
Clamshells have been replaced.

I love that car, but they look like a back breaker, setting on a 2 inch thick pad and just about setting on the leaf spring suspended rear housing. Not the most comfortable arrangement for an extended trip. PJ
