OH My Gosh Yes! and look at all those cool go fast goodies up under the bonnets.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

For those of you in the Southeast, the Australian Healeys are featured guests during The International Healey Challenge at the Gold Cup Races held at VIR this year. The VIR web site has the dates wrong... the event in Alton, VA will be June 10-12, 2005. VIR is open to the public (with paid admission). Spectators are allowed to get very close to these cars and the entrants.

DK! do you think any of the Aussy cars will be runing the new all Aluminum Healey Engine ? It may not be within the rules I do not know.---Keoke

Well the two 6 cylinder engines you can see have some DMD parts. P5072037.JPG looks like it has a DMD head and both cars have the rockers and webers that DMD have listed on their website. Nice. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

I can't comment on the acceptable equipment run at this event. If you go to the VIR site there are entrance forms for the contestants that spell out the rules. That may answer the question about what engines are acceptable.
