TR6 australian TR6 Forum????

Hi all,

After 15 years and 2 engine rebuilds I now need to sell my TR6. A much loved car needs a new home where it will get the care it deserves.

Can anyone tell me where to sell it in Australia, what the Australian market price might be?

Dave, have a look at https://www.ninemsn.carpoint.com.au where currently there are 9 x TR6's for sale, to get an idea on your price range.

After Carpoint, your next best online bet is Carsales. Another is CarsGuide, but I wouldn't bother. If you want to advertise it via hard copy, Unique Cars magazine is the best. Then there's Australian Classic Car magazine. If you want to sell it quickly to a dealer, check with The Healey Factory in Melbourne or The Classic Throttle Shop in Sydney. For the other states, their sports car dealers advertise in Unique Cars.

The Triumph Sports Owners of Australia club magazine in your state is an option, as is Ebay.
