Austin Healey Crest Graphic

Greetings, I do not venture over here much (I'm mainly on the spridget board).

However, I'm looking for a copy of the Austin Healey Crest. I prefer a .svg or .eps file (or some other vector format). But I could also start with a large clear high resolution bitmat of some sort (bmp, gif, png, etc.)

Hi Trevor,

If you search Google Images for Healey Crest and Healey Badge you will find some bitmaps on the web but they are not very large. However, you should be able to enlarge these to use as a background image for reconstruction. Perhaps the webmasters have larger versions on hand which they "might" be willing to share if you have a non-commercial use. There could be some copyright issues with these graphics though.

This is something that I want for personal use. I can make a vector graphic from most any bitmap, but the larger and higher quality I start with the better. I'm going to "ghost" it to the inside of my Sprite bonnet when I repaint it.

cool .. how are you going to make the masks? sign maker type mask from digital file or by hand?

I don't know yet. I have a friend of a friend that claims he can do it. Based on his other work, I do not doubt him. But he said that if I refine a scalable vector graphic that he can do it much cheaper.
